Psalming 4

Open arms, smiling face.

Warm embrace.

“Terah, look at me,” you speak kindly.

Me, arms wide, eyes closed.

Singing a love song to you.

But not seeing.

No correction, no condemnation.

Simply a gentle hand on my cheek, turning my gaze towards your eyes of love.

And there it is. The reason I am singing.

Love so deep I could swim in it.
